About Somnath Mukherjee
I have a deep passion for art and have participated in various competitions and exhibitions across the world. I have had solo and group exhibitions in India, Albania(EU), and Kansas(USA). It was an honor for me to represent India in the International Watercolor Society Exhibition held in Albania.
Somnath Mukherjee, also known as 'Som', is an artist who was born and raised in India. He received his Bachelor of Architecture and Diploma in Fine Arts from India and went on to work in India, Philippines, and the USA for a few years. Somnath pursued his Master of Architecture from Kansas State University before moving to NWA where he currently works as a Graduate Architect with Hight Jackson Associates, Rogers.
In 2014, Somnath was awarded the all India Gold Medal for his painting and had a group exhibition in Delhi, India. He also received the 'Final Week feature winner Award' from Strecker nelson west gallery, Manhattan, Kansas. Somnath has conducted watercolor workshops in universities and private events. His last exhibition was held in WALTON ART CENTER, Fayetteville, Arkansas, which showcased his exceptional artistic talent.
