About Zeek Taylor
Represented Artist
Zeek Taylor is a recipient of the Arkansas Governor's Art Award for Lifetime Achievement. In 2018 he received the Idle Class Magazine Black Apple "Legacy Award.” His artwork has been displayed in the Arkansas Arts Center: three times in the prestigious Delta Exhibition, and two times in the International Toys Designed by Artists Exhibition. Zeek’s paintings have hung in the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion, and he has received several "Best of Show" awards.
Besides his career as a visual artist, he is the author of three books. A native Arkansan, Zeek lives and maintains a studio in Eureka Springs.
I paint with greater concern for style over realism and with a focus on pattern and color theory. The one rule that I adhere to is “break the rules.”
